It tells the story of Lu who loves to pretend she has a perfect life, but the reality is that she cant even afford to pay her share of the bar she opened with her two best friends, so she works there as a bartender. When she meets Diego, a grumpy and attractive Argentinian visiting Mexico, her friends challenge her to make him fall in love with her and, in exchange, they will forgive her debt to become a partner. Lu accepts the challenge and sets out to make Diego fall in love with her no matter what, even if she has to travel to Buenos Aires and confront Diegos mother, who has an old love wound that will complicate things. Lu is willing to do anything to achieve her goal.
